Resizing Quick Start
1) Select your Input
Directory which contains the photos you wish to resize by clicking on
the directory in the left hand directory browser pane or by using the
'browse' button.
2) Select the new size of your images by using Resize To % or
Resize To Pixel Height.
3) Click Resize.
4) You can package the resized photos by clicking the Package
button. |

User Interface
1) Digital Photo Resizer can be has 2 interface modes which can be toggled by
clicking the
button.

Explorer Mode

Dialog Mode
|
Explorer Mode is useful for seeing the pictures in the directory that
you will be resizing. When you select a directory in the left-hand pane that
becomes the current active input directory that you wish to resize.
Dialog Mode is the classic version of the resizer application that
presents a concise interface.
2) The resizer interface consists of many logically organized fields and
buttons. The directory settings tell the application where the images are and
where they are going.

Directories
Input Directory -
directory which contains the images you wish to resize
[browse] - browse for input directory
[view as html] - show input directory as html
page
[view directory] - show explorer folder of input
directory
Autoset the Output and Thumbnail Directories -
when checked will set the output and thumbnail directories as
subdirectories of the input directory.
Output Directory - directory which will
contain the resized images
[browse] - browse for output directory
[view as html] - show output directory as html
page
[view directory] - show explorer folder of
output directory
Thumbnail Directory - directory
which will contain the output thumbnails
[browse] - browse for thumbnail directory
[view as html] - show thumbnail directory as
html page
[view directory] - show explorer folder of
thumbnail directory
3) The Image Property settings tell the application what size and
visual quality you wish to make the resized images.

Image Properties and Resizing Buttons
Thumbnail Type -
thumbnail output type
Resize To % - percentage to shrink or grow image
Resize To Pixel - pixel height to size the image to
Quality - 1 to 100 higher the value the more accurate the image and
larger the file.
Thumbnail Size - pixel height of thumbnails generated
Test Sample - randomly selects image from input
directory and resizes it to your specifications. It then shows you the new
attributes of the image and the entire directory.
Rotate Photos - used to rotate sideways photos.
Package Photos - creates screensavers, slideshows and websites.
Registration - registration and purchase information
